Our School Vision

‘Journeying together in hope and joy’

Our school vision is inspired by Romans 12, which asks us to be ‘joyful in hope and steadfast in troubles’.

Our school Logo is a rainbow with a cross in front of it. It reminds us of the Old Testament story of Noah’s Ark, where God rewards Noah’s faith and hope with his promise for the future in the form of a magnificent rainbow.  As a school community we strive to find joy in our journey together by delighting in our learning, remaining steadfast in challenges and by trusting in the richness of our relationships with one another, with the wider world and beyond.

British Values

In accordance with The Department for Education we also aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.

The Key Values are:

democracy
rule of law
individual liberty
mutual respect
tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
